Rodney Simonini
Owner/Founder
RhemaTek, LLC was founded in 1998 by Rodney Simonini as a full service technology company committed to meeting the distinctive needs of micro-businesses across Rhode Island and Massachusetts. With over 20 years of experience in the IT field, Rodney is a graduate of the New England Institute of Technology and receives on-going training to stay current with emerging industry trends. Throughout his career, he has provided support for IT systems in both private industry and the corporate sector, including non-profit agencies, academic institutions and the military.
Rodney established RhemaTek on the core philosophy that small businesses deserve the same quality of IT support and service typically found in larger companies. Under his leadership, RhemaTek has forged an industry reputation for their proactive, forward-thinking approach to technology systems and customer support. In his free time, Rodney’s interest in emerging technologies extends to the academic world. He is currently on staff as Director of Technology at Masters Regional Academy in Smithfield, where he oversees the technology curriculum to enhance the learning experience.
Denise Dorrance
Technical Support
As the Technical Support Manager at RhemaTek, Denise Dorrance supervises our entire team of technicians and operates as the first response for all support requests received through the Help Desk. With an extensive background as a Senior Network Administrator and Senior Support Engineer, Denise has over 20 years of experience troubleshooting technical problems both remotely and in the field. She is trained and certified in the industry’s latest programs and systems, and during her career she has provided top-level support to some of New England’s largest corporations, including Boston College, Newport Naval War College, Polaroid Corporation and The Hartford.
Denise is an integral part of the RhemaTek team, and her experience, tenacity and friendly manner help guide our Support Division in resolving technical requests effectively and efficiently.
Michelle Powell
Client Services
As Office Manager, Michelle Powell oversees all daily administrative operations and client contact. With a diverse background in both the public and private sector, Michelle has over 20 years of experience in client and vendor relations, administrative support and customer service. Working closely with clients and vendors on all matters of billing and work orders, she partners with team members from Technical Support to ensure that the administrative offices run smoothly and that our clients receive superior customer service.
As a freelance artist and private business owner, Michelle also brings over 10 years of experience in design, marketing and public relations. As a designer, she has experience in corporate identity packages, advertisement, direct mail and publications, and has crafted successful marketing campaigns for private businesses, public agencies and non-profit corporations.
